We are now looking for a communicator for a fixed-term employment of approximately 1 year, based at IMY's communication unit. The unit is responsible for the authority's external and internal communication as well as press issues. The communication unit consists of seven employees and is led by the authority's communications manager.
Job Responsibilities
As a communicator, you will work operationally with both internal and external communication at the authority. The work is done in close collaboration with other employees in the communication unit. You will spend about 50 percent of your time on internal communication and about 50 percent on external communication.
Your tasks will include:
- writing and publishing news and other texts on our intranet
- writing and publishing various types of information on the authority's external website
- language reviewing texts
- photographing and image processing
- producing video content in the Storykit tool primarily for LinkedIn
- training editors for the intranet
- monitoring the internal functional mailbox regarding publications on the intranet and website and continuously publishing incoming texts
- participating in the work with our external web provider regarding the management of both the website and intranet
Other tasks within the unit may also occur in the role, and you are expected to contribute to the development of internal work processes for target group-adapted and guiding texts.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a communication degree at the university level, or other education combined with experience deemed relevant by IMY. You have at least 3 years of experience working as a communicator and have experience in a similar role in a government agency, municipality, or region.
Furthermore, we see that you have:
- current experience within the last two years of publishing in the web tools Sitevision and Optimizly
- experience writing for and publishing on LinkedIn for specific target groups
- experience writing target group-adapted texts and language reviewing texts on complex topics, such as law
- experience photographing for intranet, website, and social media.
It is an advantage if you have experience with:
- working with digital accessibility and clear language image processing in Photoshop
- basic editing/design in InDesign
- conducting internal training in web publishing
- developing internal work processes within the communications field.

As a communicator, you can independently and proactively drive your tasks forward to achieve the goals defined for the organization. You are stable and work effectively under varying conditions and can deliver high quality even under pressure and heavy workloads. You take responsibility for your tasks and your own development while contributing to the overall success and development of the authority. You also constructively contribute to the unit's and authority's success by sharing information and knowledge.
The work involves collaboration with both colleagues and external parties, which requires very good collaboration skills and the ability to express yourself target group-adapted, clearly, and concisely. You also have a good ability to listen to different perspectives.
You write your own high-quality texts and can easily explain and clarify complex issues.

The Position
The employment is a fixed-term position for approximately one year. You report to the communications manager. The work is based in our pleasant activity-based premises centrally located in Stockholm with the possibility of individual agreements regarding remote work. Travel in the service may occur.
