About the Job

As a lawyer in the Payments Department, you will work with legal issues related to payment services, crypto, and clearing operations, areas where the law is developing rapidly and where the Financial Supervisory Authority's (FI) assessments have significant implications for the market. The role is suitable for those who want to deepen their legal analysis with strategic implications while contributing to a stable and well-functioning financial market.

Your work will involve providing qualified legal support in both supervisory and regulatory work, participating in the development of FI's legal positions, and engaging in dialogue with industry players, authorities, and EU institutions. You will analyze and interpret national and EU legal regulations.

The assignment combines independent responsibility with a close and experienced collegial context where legal quality, joint analysis, and professional exchange are at the center. Your Education and Experience

We are looking for someone who

  • has a law degree (jur.kand.)
  • has several years of experience in qualified legal work, with a very good ability to analyze, interpret, and apply regulations
  • has a very good ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly and pedagogically, both orally and in writing, in both Swedish and English.

It is advantageous if you

  • are a notary qualified
  • have experience from a court or other authority
  • have knowledge of payment service or MiCA regulations
  • have education or experience in economics.

You have good analytical skills, can solve complex tasks, and contribute to good collaboration. You drive your work forward and make decisions within your area of responsibility. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively.
