Who is Svekon? At Svekon, you get to be part of where it happens - from a need and a prototype to a finished solution. With 50 years in the industry, Svekon continues its success journey as the engineering firm working for a better tomorrow. Today, they offer services in software development, electronics design, industrial design, and regulatory and technical documentation. Svekon is located in modern and vibrant premises in Solna, where both office and workshop are under the same roof. This way, you are never far from the technology – no matter what role you have at Svekon.
What does the role include?
As an ILS engineer, you will be a central part of Svekon's projects in defense and security. You will work on analyzing, planning, and documenting how complex systems can be maintained and supported throughout their lifespan – often 10–20 years. The role involves producing materials for technical documentation, life cycle analyses, and maintenance plans, ensuring that Svekon's solutions are sustainable over time.
Examples of tasks:
Perform maintenance analyses and develop maintenance plans (UHPM/UHPS)
Conduct life cycle analyses and suggest spare parts and maintenance actions
Codify products and systems according to defense standards
Contribute to technical documentation and ensure that ILS materials are correct
Participate in projects from early phases to delivery, often in close collaboration with systems engineers and project managers
You will work on several parallel projects, sometimes focusing on ILS and documentation, sometimes as part of larger development projects. The role requires structure, precision, and the ability to plan your time independently.
We are looking for someone who has:
A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant technical field
At least 4 years of experience in ILS, maintenance planning, or similar work
The ability to analyze and document complex systems
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, MS Project)
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Experience working in a structured and independent manner, with good communication skills
It is a plus if you have:
Experience from the defense industry, FMV, or the Armed Forces
Knowledge of codification and defense standards
Experience working with technical documentation and life cycle analyses
Experience with programs like S1000D (or interest in learning)
If you have read this far, the chances are high that you are the right person for the role. We look forward to your application!
