On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Senior Communicator for an ongoing part-time assignment of approximately 10–20 percent per month. This role is ideal for you who have extensive experience in communication within urban planning and societal development, as well as a good understanding of Stockholm's urban development and its stakeholders.

About the role

Perido is now seeking a Senior Communicator for an ongoing part-time assignment within urban planning. The assignment is primarily remote, with the exception of some physical meetings at the client's office in Stockholm.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you are responsible for driving and developing the strategic communication work related to urban planning projects. You will act as a qualified support in both the planning and implementation of communication initiatives, contributing to a clear, trust-building, and proactive dialogue with the project's various target groups. The communication should be characterized by openness, clarity, and trust.

Main areas of responsibility:

• Develop and refine an overarching communication strategy
• Define messages, tone, and communicative direction
• Identify which issues and values should be highlighted in the communication
• Drive proactive communication work and propose relevant activities
• Coordinate and lead the communication work over time
• Monitor relevant communication channels and platforms
• Manage dialogue and answer questions from the public and other stakeholders
• Contribute to communication that builds trust and security among target groups

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience as a communicator
• Documented experience from at least two urban planning projects
• Extensive experience in communication work within urban planning or societal development
• Experience with municipal assignments in both early and late stages of projects
• Ability to develop communication that builds trust and creates a feeling of "you can rely on us"
• Strong strategic and operational communication competence
• Good understanding of business aspects in projects and communication

Meritorious:

• Experience from the private sector
• Experience with projects with commercial elements
• Experience of collaboration between public and private actors

Scope and start date

Full-time, consultancy assignment on a permanent basis. Start mid-August.
