We are now looking for an Accountant with company responsibility for a company within property management and leasing, operating within a group focused on property development and construction. Responsibilities and about the role

As an accountant in the company, you should feel comfortable working independently through the entire financial flow. You will collaborate closely with the group's Finance Manager and Controller, who will be there to support you with any questions that arise. You are responsible for ongoing work within bookkeeping, customer and supplier ledgers, VAT reporting (in mixed activities), budget monitoring, and providing financial support to the local Operations Manager. You have overall responsibility for the company's financial processes and work both operationally and strategically throughout the year. Your role also includes being the system administrator for our booking system (with invoicing/customer ledger) to ensure high-quality accounting within it.

In your role, you are responsible for, among other things:

• Ongoing bookkeeping and accounting
• Customer and supplier ledgers, and to some extent invoicing and posting/booking of supplier invoices
• Reporting of incoming and outgoing payments
• Expense management, compilation, and posting
• Reminder and debt collection management. Driving the project to outsource this management
• VAT reporting in mixed activities
• Monthly reconciliation
• Half-year and annual financial statements
• System administrator in our booking system CompuSoft
• Together with the booking department, establish routines and processes that support them in order to achieve more efficient flows in the booking system. Payment flows for booking fees for studios, handling claims for defects upon return of studios, and managing customer deposits. Implement new modules such as e-invoicing, etc.
• Contact with authorities
• Responsible for reviewing and controlling ongoing agreements with partners, such as payment platforms, etc.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have several years of experience in a broad finance role where similar tasks have been included. You may have worked with finance within the hotel industry. You are well-versed in the entire financial flow and have an understanding of large transaction flows, as well as having worked independently with ongoing accounting and monthly closing. You have the ability to understand the big picture and are driven by working on improvement projects and creating structure. As a person, you are meticulous, flexible, solution-oriented, and communicative. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a positive attitude with a flat hierarchy approach, are a good team player, and constantly strive forward.

Requirements for the position are:

• Educated economist
• At least 3–4 years of experience in finance, preferably as a finance manager
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365/Excel
• Good knowledge of Fortnox
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Merits include:

• Experience with systems such as Rillion and CompuSoft
• Worked within hotel operations or similar activities
• Experience with VAT management in mixed activities
• Good knowledge of Danish
• Good system proficiency as you will be responsible for the financial flow in the booking system
