About the assignment

At Novare, we are a proud and approved supplier under the Swedish government framework agreement. We are now looking for two Payroll Administrators for an authority in Norrköping.

As a Payroll Administrator at the authority, you will be responsible for ensuring the correct and efficient handling of payroll administration for all employees. Together with your colleagues in payroll, you will manage payroll payments, reporting, and support to employees. The role also includes handling payroll-related matters such as expense claims, advances, and system administration. You will become an important part of the authority's work and continued development.

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, self-initiating, and solution-oriented. You are confident in yourself and can take independent initiative. Furthermore, we see that you collaborate well with others and work in a structured manner.

The position is security classified, and you may need to undergo a background check and security clearance.

Examples of main responsibilities

• Process and check payroll data
• Generate payroll registers
• Produce reports and statistics
• Report taxes and employer contributions
• Compile time and absence reports
• Answer questions from employees (e.g., regarding salary and vacation leave)
• Perform calculations and corrections
• Daily management and leadership of operations.

Requirements for the position

• Vocational Higher Education (YH) or similar education within payroll
• At least three (3) years of work experience as a Payroll Administrator
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Good knowledge of payroll systems
• Good knowledge of accounting systems
• Good knowledge of collective agreements
• Fluent communication in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Ability to provide references from previous assignments (within the last 5 years).

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with the payroll system Personec P

Assignment period and scope

The assignment is full-time starting August 17th and lasts for approximately 1 year, with the possibility of extension. The location is at the authority in Norrköping, with some possibility of remote work.
