About the assignment
Novare is a proud and approved supplier under the Swedish government's framework agreement. We are currently seeking two Payroll Administrators for an authority in Norrköping.
As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the correct and efficient handling of payroll processes for all employees. Together with your colleagues, you will manage payroll payments, reporting, and provide support to staff. The role also includes handling payroll-related matters such as expense claims, advances, and system administration. You will become a key part of the authority's ongoing development.
We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and solution-focused. You are confident in your abilities, take initiative, and collaborate well with others. You work in a structured manner and have strong prioritization skills.
This position is security-classified, which means you may be required to undergo a background check and security clearance.
Key responsibilities
- Process and verify payroll data
- Generate payroll registers
- Create reports and statistics
- Report taxes and employer contributions
- Compile time and absence reports
- Answer employee questions (e.g., regarding salary and vacation)
- Perform calculations and corrections
- Daily management and leadership of the payroll function
Requirements
- Vocational upper secondary education or equivalent in payroll
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a Payroll Administrator
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Good knowledge of payroll systems
- Good knowledge of accounting systems
- Good knowledge of collective agreements
- Fluent in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to provide references from previous assignments (within the last 5 years)

Duration and scope
The position is full-time, starting on August 17th, and lasts for approximately one year, with the possibility of extension. The workplace is at the authority in Norrköping, with some possibility of remote work.
