About the assignment
At Novare, we are a proud and approved supplier under the Swedish government framework agreement. We are now seeking two payroll administrators for an authority in Norrköping.
As a payroll administrator at the authority, you will be responsible, among other things, for ensuring the correct and efficient handling of payroll administration for all employees. Together with your colleagues in the payroll department, you will manage payroll payments, reporting, and support to employees. Tasks also include handling payroll-related matters such as expenses, advances, and system administration. You will become an important part of the authority's work and continued development.
We are looking for you who are meticulous, self-reliant, and solution-oriented. You are confident in yourself and can take independent initiative. Furthermore, we see that you have an easy time collaborating with others and work in a structured manner.
The position is security classified, and you may need to undergo a register check and possible security clearance.
Examples of overall responsibilities
- Process and check payroll data
- Generate payroll lists
- Prepare reports and statistics
- Report taxes and employer contributions
- Compile time and absence reports
- Answer questions from employees (e.g., regarding salary and vacation)
- Perform calculations and corrections
- Daily management and leadership of the operation.
Requirements for the position
- Vocational Higher Education (YH) or similar within payroll
- At least three (3) years of work experience as a payroll administrator
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Good knowledge of payroll systems
- Good knowledge of accounting systems
- Good knowledge of collective agreements
- Fluent communication in Swedish, both spoken and written
- Ability to provide references from previous assignments (within the last 5 years).

- Experience with the payroll system Personec P
Assignment period and scope
The assignment is full-time starting August 17th and lasts for approximately 1 year, with the possibility of extension. The location is at the authority in Norrköping, with some possibility for remote work.
