Project Description

This assignment constitutes a sub-project within a specific program. The organization requires enhanced financial support for a limited period. The issues that need to be addressed include structure, coding, follow-up, and control, which impact the ability to maintain good financial control and clear decision-making foundations.

Therefore, the administration needs to bring in a senior external resource with high execution capability to work together with existing financial resources to assess the current situation and build a functioning structure for the future.

The purpose of the assignment is to:

• Strengthen financial reporting.
• In close collaboration with operations, shape a structure for budget, forecast (BOP), and follow-up.
• Strengthen control between the authority and the operating activities.
• Create clear decision-making foundations for the board, administration director, operation managers, and unit managers.
• Ensure long-term sustainable working methods.
• Prioritize deliveries required to ensure functioning budget, follow-up, and financial control.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of professional experience in the relevant field.
• At least 4 years of experience as an economist, controller, and/or financial manager.
• Documented experience in:

• Creating financial structures in close collaboration with public operations.
• Implementing budget and forecast processes.
• Resource distribution models.

• Strong operational capability (not just analysis).
• High pedagogical and communicative skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience from social services/elderly care.
