Practical and driven employee for an exciting summer assignment!

Do you enjoy working with your hands, like learning new things, and want a fast-paced summer? We are now looking for dedicated employees for a well-known technology company in the transport sector in Gävle.

About the Role

In this role, you will become an important part of a team that ensures the technology runs smoothly. We are looking for someone who is at the beginning of their career or wants to try something new within technology and maintenance. The most important thing is your attitude, your willingness to jump in, and your ability to see what needs to be done – we value drive and engagement higher than long experience!

The assignment starts immediately so that you can settle into the role and receive good training before the holiday period begins around Midsummer. The position is initially a summer temporary position, but for the right person, there are good opportunities for extension.

Responsibilities

You will support the technicians in their daily work with everything from simple maintenance to practical tasks. It is a varied job where you will handle tools, work with mechanical parts, and manage digital work orders.

Working Hours: The work is performed in shifts (day and evening).

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a practical streak. Perhaps you have studied a technical high school, worked in construction or industry, or have a great interest in tinkering and fixing things in your spare time.

We place great importance on your personality and your attitude towards work. We are looking for you who are naturally driven and enjoy taking initiative; you are the person who does not wait to be assigned a task, but sees for yourself what needs to be done – whether it involves changing a filter, supporting a colleague, or ensuring the workspace is clean and safe.

Furthermore, we believe you are unpretentious and meticulous, and you understand the importance of performing every task with high quality. Since we work closely together in shifts, it is crucial that you are a team player who contributes to a good atmosphere in the team and is communicative in your collaboration with others. You are punctual, responsible, and have a desire to learn the trade from the ground up.

Key Tasks

• Changing filters and drying agents.
• Simple assembly of electrical and mechanical components.
• Maintenance and cleaning of technical systems.
• Decontamination and washing as needed.

Requirements

• Practical background or strong technical interest.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
