The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care (SiS) is a government agency responsible for individualized compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial issues and for adults with substance abuse problems. SiS also operates closed youth care facilities. We operate youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse issues across the country. Job Description

Do you want to work in an administrative function and contribute to higher quality in our operations? Apply for the position of HR Administrator at SiS. This role is crucial in creating conditions for a more equitable and efficient way of working throughout the organization.

As an HR Administrator, you support the institution's managers in administrative HR work, enabling them to focus on what they do best: being present leaders. You work operationally, independently, and broadly across the entire HR area, including recruitment, correspondence filing, contract drafting, payroll issues, and labor law matters regarding terms and conditions. You will collaborate with various professional groups within the institution, the agency, and external actors such as the State Service Center. You should have experience and proficiency in using various personnel systems. We use systems such as Primula, Ciceron/Diabas, and Reachmee.

We are currently in a transition period at SiS Youth Home Rebecka, which has led to a higher workload. We are therefore looking for someone who is engaged, cooperative, and flexible in meeting the needs of the operation. We value responsibility, ensuring that tasks are completed, and the ability to implement decisions made at the department level.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we require the following:

  • Relevant post-secondary education (180 ECTS credits) from a university/college in fields such as Human Resource Management, Behavioral Science, or similar.
  • Experience in broad administrative HR work.
  • Experience in providing support to managers.
  • Knowledge and experience of labor law.
  • Good knowledge of payroll matters.
  • Good command of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Merits:

  • Experience in HR work within the public sector, such as municipalities or government agencies.

Employment

The position is a permanent employment starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date preferably immediately or as agreed.
