Purpose of the Role

The role of Data Engineer aims to collect, analyze, and visualize data to support business development, quality assurance, and strategic decision-making within healthcare operations. The role contributes to creating data-driven insights that strengthen quality, efficiency, and financial monitoring.

Main Responsibilities

• Analyze operational data within production, quality, and finance.
• Create reports, analyses, and dashboards for management and operations.
• Identify trends, deviations, and areas for improvement.
• Support operations in data-driven decision-making.
• Monitor healthcare quality and relevant key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Ensure data quality, structure, and reliability.
• Participate in development projects such as digitalization and BI solutions.
• Responsible for producing monthly follow-ups and result analyses.
• Support the CFO in budgeting, forecasting, and follow-up work.
• Cross-functional collaboration with operations, finance, and IT.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic degree in fields such as statistics, economics, systems science, public health, or a similar area.
• Experience in data analysis, preferably within healthcare, social care, or the public sector.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience with database management and SQL.
• Meritorious experience with medical record systems and healthcare data platforms.
• Experience in business development and change management is meritorious.
• Experience working in cross-functional and complex organizations.

Technical Skills

• Very good knowledge of Excel.
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Meritorious knowledge of Python or R.
• Experience in data visualization and reporting.
• Understanding of data modeling and data quality.

Domain Knowledge

• Understanding of healthcare processes and patient flows.
• Knowledge of quality registers and healthcare-related KPIs.
• Good understanding of regulations and data protection, such as GDPR.
• Insight into how data is used for quality monitoring and business control within healthcare.
