We are currently seeking a Senior Communicator for a long-term part-time assignment within urban development. This role is ideal for you if you have extensive experience in strategic communication within societal development and thrive on building trust through clear and proactive communication.

You will work closely with urban development projects and serve as a qualified support in both the planning and execution of communication initiatives. The assignment is primarily remote, with some physical meetings in Stockholm.

• Drive and develop strategic communication work related to urban construction projects

• Act as an advisor and support in communication matters

• Ensure a clear, open, and trust-building dialogue with various target groups

• Develop communication plans and strategies

• Define messages, tone, and communicative direction

• Identify key issues and values to highlight in communication

• Initiate and execute proactive communication initiatives

• Monitor relevant communication channels and platforms

• Manage dialogue and inquiries from the public and other stakeholders

• Overall communication strategy for current projects

• Clear message platform and communicative direction

• Proactive planning and execution of communication activities

• Ongoing support to the project organization in communication matters

• Communication initiatives that strengthen trust and transparency towards target groups and stakeholders

Required Competencies

• At least 5 years of experience as a communicator

• Documented experience from at least two urban construction projects

• Extensive experience in communication work within urban construction or societal development

• Experience with municipal assignments in both early and late project stages

• Strong strategic and operational communication competence

• Good understanding of business aspects within projects and communication

• Documented ability to create communication that builds trust among different target groups

• Experience from the private sector

• Experience with projects involving commercial elements

• Experience in collaboration between public and private actors

Stockholm (primarily remote work)

20–80 % (approx. 10–20 % per month)
