About the Role

Junior Trader is the heart of Handlarbudet's trading engine. You match cars with the right buyers, drive deals to closure, and keep the momentum going when others lose it. High pressure. Clear goals. An environment where your performance is visible the very day you deliver it. You work operationally, close to senior traders and the rest of the team – but your success is determined by how many deals you bring to completion, and how efficiently you do it.

As a Junior Trader with us, you will receive a unique education in business acumen. You will learn to value assets, read market trends, and master negotiation techniques at a professional level.

Responsibilities

What you do every day:

• Closing deals: Drive incoming cases from the first conversation to a signed agreement.
• Matching correctly: Pair cars with the right buyers – quickly, accurately, and with a focus on margin.
• Hunting for follow-ups: You have already retrieved the answer that everyone else is waiting for.
• Solving obstacles: Identify what is stopping a deal and get it out of the way.
• Keeping data sharp: No sloppy notes, no dropped threads – everything is traceable from start to finish.

What you bring with you

• Experience from telemarketing, appointment setting, or other performance-based roles.
• Accustomed to being measured against clear goals and used to achieving them.
• Strong sense of pace, follow-up, and getting deals across the line.
• Structured and precise even when things are heating up.
• Good system familiarity and quick to learn new tools.
• Fluent Swedish, good English.

Our Recruitment Process

This recruitment process is handled by Academic Work, and our client's request is that all questions regarding the position be sent to Academic Work.

We apply rolling selection and will take down the advertisement when enough candidates have reached the final stage of the recruitment process. The recruitment process includes two selection tests: a personality test and a cognitive ability test. The tests are a tool to find the candidate with the highest potential for the role, as well as to promote equality, diversity, and a fair recruitment process. The recruitment process also includes a background check where you need to be able to show a clean criminal record. The process includes interviews with Academic Work as well as two interviews with the hiring manager & founder.
