A Job That Counts!
With us, you contribute to a well-functioning society for the public and businesses.
About the Job
As a coordinator, you are responsible for preparing seized property for sale. You will register, evaluate, describe the property, and photograph it for advertisements for the Enforcement Authority's online auctions.
Your tasks include taking care of the property that the Enforcement Authority has seized and preparing it for sale. You belong to a workgroup together with other coordinators and you have close cooperation with the enforcement inspectors who seized the property. You also collaborate with the Enforcement Authority's sales section.
You work within given time frames and deadlines. You plan and are flexible as your workday and tasks vary. This is because you do not always know from week to week what type of property you will be handling and preparing for sale.
As a property coordinator, you also have direct meetings with the Enforcement Authority's various customers. During viewings and handovers after the auction, you provide good service to bidders and buyers, and you also have contact with some of our customers who have debts to us.
Everyone who works at the Enforcement Authority contributes to the fight against crime. Your tasks include identifying and preventing attempts at criminal activity and notifying other authorities of suspected crimes.
About You
As an employee at the Enforcement Authority, you are expected to live up to our employee policy.
Employee Policy (https://www.kronofogden.se/jobba-hos-oss/medarbetarpolicy)
You take initiative, are engaged, and take responsibility for achieving goals. You contribute to the development of the organization and help your colleagues succeed. You meet others with respect, kindness, and actively listen to others while showing a positive attitude.
You work result-oriented, show decisiveness, and focus on what needs to be achieved. You are stable and trustworthy in meetings with people in vulnerable situations. You communicate easily and pedagogically with customers. You have an analytical ability that allows you to see connections and find the most effective solution. You adapt to the circumstances and the changes that occur.
Your Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish and English
- Driver's license for a car with manual transmission.
It is desirable that you have relevant experience in administrative work where you have independently managed several processes and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. It is also desirable that you have relevant experience working with movable property, for example, in a pawnshop, auction house, car auctions, or similar businesses.
About Us
The Enforcement Authority is a government agency with an important mission. We work closely with people in vulnerable situations. We help those who have not been paid and guide those who need to pay. We provide citizens and businesses with information and good service so that they can make long-term and sustainable decisions. This requires knowledge, decisiveness, care, and courage. We contribute to a well-functioning society for the public and businesses – a society where debts and other claims are established and collected in a legally secure manner.
With us, you can expect challenging tasks that are also developing for you. When you leave work at the end of the day, you can be sure that you have done something that truly counts – both for others and for yourself.
Good to Know
The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. You will be employed as a Coordinator. The Enforcement Authority offers the possibility of remote work by agreement with the employer.
Working in the government means that you follow the government’s core values. There are also special requirements for judgment, security awareness, and compliance with applicable laws. We ask questions during the interview about any previous criminal activity and shortcomings in previous employment. For final candidates, these questions are also asked of references. We also gather information about debts registered with the Enforcement Authority, bankruptcy, and business bans. The information obtained is weighed in the overall assessment of your suitability for the current position.
Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
