Office Manager Wanted for Long-Term Position
SJR is seeking an Office Manager on behalf of our client for a long-term position starting in February. The role is approximately 75% with flexibility regarding days and hours. You will primarily work on-site at the client's beautiful office in central Gothenburg, with the option to work from home one day a week. The assignment begins as a consultant through SJR for 6 months, after which you will transition into employment with the client.
About the Position
As an Office Manager, you are a reliable and valued key person who ensures the office runs smoothly and daily operations flow. The role is broad and varied, and you will work closely with the CEO and staff while creating structure, order, and a pleasant environment for both employees and visitors.
Your responsibilities include:
- Office management: purchasing supplies, liaising with vendors, maintaining order and comfort in the premises.
- Administrative support: preparing meetings, handling refreshments, coordinating fairs/conferences, printing materials.
- Case management: receiving, registering, distributing, and quality-checking cases. Attention to detail in the Swedish language is important as all materials are proofread before being forwarded.
- Ongoing service: receiving incoming emails and calls and directing them to the appropriate staff.
- Keeping track of internal events such as birthdays, farewells, and other office-related activities.
- Updating the website and social media.
Much is happening simultaneously, and you will be a central figure in creating structure, order, and a welcoming atmosphere.
Suitable Background
We are looking for someone who is confident, solution-oriented, and enjoys a role where you can be the spider in the web. You may have previously worked in a similar role, such as office manager, administrator, coordinator, or in public service.
