We are currently looking for an experienced and qualified financial consultant who can step in and support one of our clients for six months. We are looking for someone who has previously worked with finance in the municipal sector for at least three years. The assignment is 80% and runs for six months starting in February 2026.

Responsibilities

The financial consultant will independently and qualitatively perform the following tasks:

• budget work: support in budget and forecasting processes
• accounting: ongoing accounting work and posting
• financial management: contribute to the development and improvement of financial management processes and, together with other economists, develop working methods, tools, and routines for the municipality's financial management
• financial reporting and follow-up: prepare and analyze financial reports as well as monthly and quarterly reports

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of documented and qualified experience in financial work within the areas of budget work, accounting, financial management, and financial reporting and follow-up in the municipal sector. Furthermore, you need to have a

relevant university degree in finance or equivalent.
