KAEFER AB reports according to IFRS and has a clear structure for financial monitoring and project management. The finance department consists of a CFO, a controller, and three finance assistants.

About the assignment

As a Controller at KAEFER, you are a close business support to the project managers, focusing on creating financial control and ensuring that projects develop according to plan. Your task is to follow up, analyze, and quality assure the project's finances – ensuring that costs and revenues are correctly allocated and that decision-making materials are of high quality.

The business is conducted in a comprehensive project environment, which requires structure, accuracy, and ongoing dialogue with responsible parties in the organization. You work proactively with follow-ups and act as a sounding board in financial matters, aiming to contribute to good profitability and reduced risk in the projects. The role means that you not only follow up on numbers – you also help drive the projects forward by providing project managers with the right conditions to make well-founded financial decisions.

Your main responsibilities:

• Ongoing follow-up of projects in relation to budget, calculations, and forecasts
• Updating and quality assuring forecasts
• Analysis of project margins, cost development, and shared costs
• Ensuring correct project accounting and fair cost allocation
• Follow-up of subcontractors and contracts from a financial perspective
• Control and follow-up of project-related resources and materials
• Active business dialogue with project managers regarding profitability, risks, and action plans

The position is based at the office in Stora Höga. At the same time, this is a role that involves travel within Sweden. You work closely with project activities and therefore need to regularly visit branches around the country. Travel is a natural and recurring part of the assignment and requires that you enjoy a mobile and business-oriented role.

Employment form

The position is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by StudentConsulting and work as a consultant at KAEFER. The position is full-time and working hours are scheduled during office hours. Planned start is immediate or as agreed.

THIS IS WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 3-5 years of experience as a Controller in the construction and industrial service industry
• University degree in finance
• Experience with SAP
• Very good knowledge of Excel and preferably Power BI
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Driving license B

Personal qualities

We are looking for someone who is structured and analytical with a high degree of accuracy. You have a strong business focus and are driven to create results through good financial control and clear follow-up. In dialogue with project managers, you are confident, communicative, and pedagogical, while also having integrity and the courage to challenge when necessary.

You are flexible and adaptable in a changing project environment, enjoy working independently, and take responsibility for driving your work forward. At the same time, you have good collaboration skills and build trust within the organization by combining professionalism with a solution-oriented approach.
