HR Officer at Regiment Staff K 3 – Life Regiment Hussars

Regiment Staff

The Regiment Staff K 3 consists of approximately 40 employees, half of whom are career officers and half are civil servants. The staff supports the regiment commander and other commanders with coordination and follow-up, as well as providing expert support in various competence areas. Led by the Chief of Staff, the staff is organized into nine sections. As an HR Officer, you will belong to G1, the HR Section. At the HR Section/G1, generalists and specialists work to support the regiment in strategic and operational HR services. The section is led by the HR Chief/C G1 and the Acting HR Chief.

Main Responsibilities

The Swedish Armed Forces are growing, and we are expanding our organization with an HR Officer, giving you a significant opportunity to help us develop new routines together. As an HR Officer with us, you will enjoy the variety of moving between performing administrative tasks and independently supporting the work with our reserve officers. You play a vital role in the dialogue and communication with our reserve officers, which has become even more important in our upcoming growth. Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform administration, planning, and follow-up within the personnel area in the PRIO and VIDAR systems
  • Generate statistics, compile reports, and update personnel lists
  • Orders regarding authorizations
  • Act as a personal data officer
  • Coordinate reserve officer management, e.g., dialogue with our reserve officers, draft employment contracts, and ensure service plans exist
  • Maintain the personnel archive regarding personnel files
  • Issue diplomas prior to school examinations
  • Other tasks within the scope of the section's mission

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • University degree or several years of work experience in a relevant area deemed suitable by the employer
  • Good administrative skills and experience from administrative work
  • Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
  • Good knowledge of the Office package
  • Class B driver's license (manual transmission)

The Life Regiment Hussars, K 3, has fast and effective units and a long experience in the intelligence field. K 3 trains a Ranger Battalion and an Intelligence Battalion. The Ranger Battalion is a unit with high mobility that must be able to be first on the scene during an operation. The Intelligence Battalion delivers intelligence by using advanced technology, ground personnel, and unmanned aerial vehicles (RPAS).

At K 3, there is also the Swedish Armed Forces Survival School and the Aviation Unit, which is responsible for remotely piloted aircraft systems and military parachute service. Support functions such as the Garrison Unit and Logistics Unit are also located here. Please read more on this page.
