We are looking for a business developer who wants to contribute to strengthening quality, legal certainty, and equitable processing within the social services authority's administrative functions.

The role is central to the development of working methods within the social services authority's administrative functions, especially in the work with the new Social Services Act and the requirements for follow-up and a more knowledge-based operation.

As a business developer, you will work closely with managers and operations to identify development needs and drive improvement work together with unit managers and operational managers. The work aims to develop working methods that make a real difference – both for the operations and for the residents we serve. The role primarily involves working on behalf of the operational manager, but you will also participate in cross-departmental development work.

About the workplace

The Social Services Department is responsible for elderly care, individual and family care, care for people with disabilities, municipal health and medical care, rehabilitation, refugee reception, labor market initiatives, and immigration issues.

The position is located in the Management Support & Development unit, where development leaders, operational coordinators, business developers, system administrators, and MAS and MAR work together to support the department's managers and operations in development, quality, and follow-up.

Job Responsibilities

The assignment involves developing and strengthening the social services authority's work within both service delivery and administrative functions.

In the role, you will, among other things:

• analyze working methods and identify development needs within the administrative functions
• drive development and improvement work that strengthens quality, legal certainty, and equitable processing
• produce analyses, follow-ups, methodological support, and decision-making materials
• contribute to the implementation of legislation and national guidelines into practical working methods in the operations
• support managers and operations in development work and the implementation of new working methods

The work involves close collaboration with managers, supervisors, and other support functions within the department. Some assignments you will drive independently, while others are carried out in dialogue with the operations or together with other functions within the municipality.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience in:

• work within the social services authority's administrative functions
• development, quality, or improvement work within public operations
• analyzing working methods and operational results to identify areas for improvement
• producing analyses, investigations, or decision-making materials
• relevant legislation, particularly the Social Services Act (SoL) and the direction of the new Social Services Act

You have several years of experience in the social services authority's administrative functions and a good understanding of the processing process in practice.

You hold a relevant university degree.

You are self-driven, proactive, and have an easy time building trusting relationships. You work in a structured manner and drive development work from idea to implementation.
