Orvelin is a family-owned group headquartered in Strömstad, operating in three business areas: trade, real estate, and investments. About the role

We are looking for an analytical and meticulous Accounting Economist / Controller who combines practical accounting work, business-related analysis with shared responsibility for the payroll process. You will be part of our finance team at the group's headquarters in Strömstad and play a central role in ensuring accurate figures and efficient processes.

Your responsibilities (Accounting / Controller)

· Monthly and annual financial statements, reconciliations, and performance analysis

· Participate in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and KPI monitoring

· Ongoing accounting work

· Preparation of tax declarations

· Participate in the preparation of liquidity and cash flow analyses

· Cost and revenue monitoring

· Participate in developing processes and internal controls

Your responsibilities (Payroll)

· Shared responsibility for payroll processing in Softone Go and Personalkollen

· Control of documentation, reconciliations, and reporting to authorities

· Management of absences, benefits, and AGI

· Secure handling of personal data in accordance with GDPR

Your profile

· At least a high school diploma in economics or equivalent experience

· Several years of experience in accounting work and controlling

· Good knowledge of accounting, VAT, and corporate taxation

· Practical experience in payroll management in Sweden

· Good Excel skills and experience with ERP/BI tools

· Preferable: experience with Softone Go and group environments

· You are structured, communicative, and enjoy both analysis and collaboration
