About the organization
The Payroll Department of the Personnel Office is responsible for payroll administration for all employees and contractors in the city. Currently, there are 13 payroll administrators working in the department.
We are working to ensure the quality of our payroll process, among other things, by developing our digital processes. Therefore, we are looking for someone who enjoys challenges and wants to help us develop our processes.
A future area within payroll management is to see how new technology can facilitate and streamline our processes. If you are curious about how, for example, AI or other technical solutions can collaborate with existing systems and processes, that is a plus.

Job Responsibilities
One of the goals of the Payroll Department is to ensure that the correct salary is paid out at the right time. As part of this mission, you will work with payroll administration. This is done via the payroll system HR+ and the deviation reporting system Medvind. You will have frequent contact with employees, managers, and personnel representatives via phone, email, and personal meetings regarding, among other things, contract and salary issues.
Together with a colleague, you will also work with pension issues and ensure that correct information according to the applicable pension agreements is present in the payroll system and with KPA for employees within Trollhättan City and the companies with which we have payroll cooperation. The work involves both active and former employees with various types of pension matters, primarily according to AKAP-KR and KAP-KL.
Together with a colleague, you will also work with LAS, the Employment Protection Act, which means ensuring our handling of employment duration, preferential rights, and seniority lists. The work is done closely with HR and managers.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with experience in pension and payroll administration or related tasks. The work requires good knowledge of laws and agreements, and we consider it an advantage if you have experience from similar work in a municipality or region and/or have worked in HR+.
You have education as a pension administrator, payroll consultant, payroll administrator, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
You enjoy working in a structured manner and are meticulous in your approach. Since the work requires many points of contact, it is important that you are service-oriented and have good collaboration skills. You have the ability to work in a problem-solving manner and have an analytical approach. You should have good IT skills and the ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.
