ERASMUS+ Coordinator
The Student and Education Division consists of four units: Student Support, Educational Support, Study and System Administration, and Admissions and Examinations. Educational Support is a central support function within Chalmers University of Technology, tasked with ensuring quality, legal security, and efficiency in the university's educational administrative processes, and the unit plays a key role in creating conditions for a well-functioning educational organization. We are now looking for an ERASMUS+ coordinator. The unit also includes exchange agreements.
Job Description
We are looking for an engaged ERASMUS+ responsible person for a combined role in international cooperation and digitalization. The ERASMUS+ coordinator is a key person in coordinating and further developing the ERASMUS+ program at Chalmers. You will stay updated on current guidelines and regulations, participate in national network meetings, and contribute to ensuring that the Erasmus activities are conducted in accordance with the program's goals. The role combines digitalization and international cooperation within ERASMUS+. You will also be responsible for reporting, follow-up, and documentation according to Erasmus+ regulations. You want to work in a team and will be involved in the unit's continued development of support for incoming and outgoing students. Much of the work involves improving our processes, and you will be an important part of our digitalization journey, which includes significant work with our various systems, including our mobility system MoveOn. The position also includes some travel to fairs and partner organizations.
The work involves high peaks, especially at the start of the semester, and you will support other colleagues as needed. You will also have direct contact with students regarding regulations and various rejections.
Employment Type
Permanent full-time position.
Qualifications
Relevant university education or other education that, together with previous experience at Chalmers, is deemed equivalent.
At least three years of experience in internationalization or educational administration, preferably at a government agency or university.
Experience with Erasmus+ and/or MoveOn database work or similar systems. Since the role of ERASMUS+ responsible involves significant responsibility, you must have documented experience in organizing and prioritizing. It is also important that you have good collaboration skills and that you are service-oriented. Since it is a smaller team, your personal qualities are an important part; you must also be driven, proactive, and resilient under stress. Being able to communicate fluently both in writing and verbally in Swedish and English is a prerequisite.
