Job Responsibilities

Do you want to be one of the driving forces in the development of our unit for wage formation and working conditions within one of Sweden's largest municipal administrations? Together with colleagues, we create the best possible conditions for managers to grow and develop into both competent and present leaders in the elderly and care administration.

Your main task is to work long-term and strategically with issues related to wage formation and wage review together with your colleagues. You ensure effective and equitable handling within the administration and contribute to us being at the forefront of negotiations as well as the interpretation of legal and contractual issues. You will independently lead and drive negotiations, act as expert support for your colleagues, and train and develop managers to become skilled in your area of responsibility. Together with managers, trade unions, and other HR specialists, you will also work with labor law issues and manage negotiations and collaboration. Your assignment includes communicating and explaining to managers, union representatives, and other HR specialists in a way that makes it easy to do the right thing. You are accustomed to interpreting and translating legal texts and collective agreements into practical reality.

We offer secure employment conditions with generous benefits and prioritize ensuring you have a good working environment and a healthy balance between work and leisure. As an employee with us, you will grow and develop based on your unique circumstances and become part of a secure employer that encourages participation and engagement. We also offer the possibility of hybrid work, as far as the operations allow, as well as flexible working hours to facilitate your everyday life. Your main workplace is at Zirkongatan, with parts of the work located at Vågmästaregatan.

Together with about 120 colleagues in the HR department, we strive to be proactive, competent, and engaged and to provide the best support we can!

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A university degree focused on personnel and labor issues, or equivalent education.
  • Very good knowledge of the legal and contractual area applicable to municipalities or regions.
  • Experience of qualified HR work within labor law, wage formation, wage review work, wage mapping, and job evaluation, as well as experience in leading negotiations and collaboration issues.

Personal Qualities:

  • You are goal- and results-oriented with the ability to turn goals into action, prioritize as needed, and follow up and report results.
  • You are driven, proactive, and engaged with the ability to achieve results both independently and in collaboration. You have the ability to think long-term and can work with a broad perspective.
  • You are collaborative and work well with others by listening and being engaged. You understand the common mission and work to make it as good as possible.
  • You are communicative and can educate as well as convey information and ideas clearly both verbally and in writing. You adapt your communication to the recipient, target group, and situation.
  • You have the ability to identify and analyze core problems and can find and suggest possible solutions.
