to apply for the job
Strömstad Municipality is a small and close-knit organization where everyone is important and works together to deliver the best possible service.
The Staffing Center ensures that the right person is in the right place – when needed. We match temporary staff to the municipality's operations within preschool, school, kitchen, cleaning, elderly care, personal assistance, and LSS. As a substitute, you have the opportunity to try different jobs and do something meaningful – but it is also a task that requires responsibility, commitment, and the right attitude.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Social Administration is now making an important investment! We see that you are a staffing specialist with a focus on recruitment and will play a key role in our investment for sustainable staffing and recruitment as part of our competence supply. We are looking for a driven and engaged recruiter who wants to help shape a completely new role with us. The purpose is to relieve our unit managers while creating a more cohesive and strategic staffing within our operations.
As a Recruiter, you will have a central function in ensuring that our operations have the right competence in place. You will:
- Take overall responsibility for recruitment processes within the operational areas.
- Independently conduct needs analysis, requirement profiles, advertising, selection, interviews, and reference checks.
- Work closely with our unit managers and the Staffing Center to enable more strategic staffing planning as a whole.
- Contribute to identifying and highlighting recruitment needs that extend across multiple units, for example, that a substitute need in one residence can be combined with resource needs in another part of the operation.
- Create and develop routines that provide a secure, quality-assured, and efficient recruitment process.
- Conduct work samples and tests regarding language development in new recruitments.
- Collaborate with adult education to ensure the right educational level in our operations.
- Be involved in the unit managers' management groups regarding staffing and recruitment.
You will be an important piece of the puzzle in ensuring that our users meet competent and trustworthy staff every day.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a higher education in HR, personnel science, or equivalent, and who has experience in recruitment, preferably in roles where you have independently driven the entire process from start to finish.
To thrive in this role, you need to have a clear ability to create and develop effective and sustainable working methods. You see opportunities where others see obstacles, dare to think outside the box, and use your creativity to find the right competence in the right place.
You are a person who can both plan, structure, and drive the work forward, while always maintaining a holistic perspective and understanding how the recruitment work contributes to our long-term competence supply. Building relationships comes naturally to you; you create trust, collaborate unpretentiously, and communicate in a way that engages and creates clarity.
Since the role is new in the organization, there are great opportunities to influence and shape both working methods and processes. This also means that we are looking for someone with relevant professional experience and who feels confident in taking initiative and leading development. If you also have experience in staffing planning or working within a staffing function, we see it as an extra plus.
OTHER
In preparation for the recruitment work, we have made decisions regarding recruitment channels and marketing. We therefore firmly request no contact with media sellers, recruitment sites, or similar.
