About the assignment

We are looking for a controller for our client in Borås for an assignment that starts immediately and lasts until the end of December 2026. The position is full-time and you will work at the client's office in Borås.

Your responsibilities

As a controller in financial management, you will be responsible for the client's accounting, budgeting, and financial statements. You will support the city director and other managers in ensuring the quality of financial management for the client's operations. The tasks include everything from practical bookkeeping to strategic development and digitization of processes and systems. You will participate in the central management of the client's finances and accounting as exercised by financial management and handle reporting regarding the client's operations.

  • Year-end and annual financial statement work

  • Bookkeeping

  • Internal control

  • Reporting

  • Quality assurance of the administration's accounting

  • Information and training within the administration

  • Budgeting and forecasting work

Your qualifications

  • University degree in finance

  • At least three years of experience in qualified financial work

  • Experience with larger financial/business systems

  • Strong skills in Excel

  • Fluent Swedish in speech and writing

  • Communicative ability

Meritorious

  • Experience from public administration

  • Experience in municipal accounting

  • Strong knowledge in accounting
