Our partner is now strengthening their finance team in Borås and is looking for a junior accountant who wants to work closely with the business, contribute with their expertise, and be a key person in the monthly closing process.

About the role

As a junior accountant, you will be an important part of our partner's central finance function responsible for accounting in the Swedish legal entities and supporting Norway and Denmark in tax and reporting matters. You will work broadly within accounting and be given significant responsibility, while also being part of a supportive team with extensive experience and high engagement.

In summary, your work will include:

• Monthly closings and ongoing accounting for the Nordic companies.
• Participating in cash flow reporting, transfer pricing-related matters, and taxes.
• Improvement work and streamlining of accounting processes.
• Other finance-related tasks within the department.

You will work daily in the JDE system.

About you

We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education in finance and a few years of experience as an accountant. We see that you are confident in closings and used to working independently. You don’t need to be senior, but you have a solid foundation to stand on and thrive in an environment where quality and structure are important.

To fit into the team, we believe you are:

• Accurate and analytical with a good understanding of the overall accounting process.

• Driven and responsible with a natural desire to take ownership.

• Proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Experience with US GAAP, transfer pricing, or cash flow is a plus but not a requirement.

About the employment

This is a consulting assignment for an initial period of 6 months via OIO, with the possibility of extension. There is also an ambition for the assignment to transition into a permanent position with our partner after an initial period as a consultant.

• Scope: Full-time, 40 hours/week, office hours.
• Start: Immediately, considering notice period.
• Location: Borås - with the possibility of remote work one day a week after onboarding.
• Salary: Fixed monthly salary.
