Our client is a fast-growing company in financial services that offers tailored solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises. By combining automation, smart system integrations, and qualified financial advice, they help their clients create efficient financial flows that reduce administration, increase transparency, and enable better decision-making.

The company works closely with both scale-ups and established SMEs and is characterized by a startup environment with a high pace, short decision-making paths, and significant personal responsibility. As they continue to grow, the client is now looking for an Accounting Consultant / Financial Consultant who wants to take on broad responsibilities, work closely with clients, and help develop how modern financial services are delivered.

The Role

In this role, you will have broad and independent responsibilities within accounting, payroll, reporting, and financial advice. You will manage multiple client relationships simultaneously, ensure high quality in financial processes, and actively contribute to further developing both internal workflows and client deliveries.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for ongoing bookkeeping as well as monthly and annual financial statements

  • Have overall responsibility for the payroll process, from reporting and processing to reporting and payments

  • Develop, improve, and ensure the quality of financial reporting

  • Drive improvement work and contribute to more efficient and scalable processes

  • Support clients with financial follow-up, profitability analyses, and advice

  • Act as the primary contact person and trusted advisor for clients

  • Be an internal knowledge resource and sounding board for the team

Daily Tasks

  • Manage daily bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll, and financial statements for multiple clients

  • Analyze financial data, produce reports, and support clients in financial decisions

  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to share knowledge, improve processes, and ensure high quality in all deliveries

Qualifications and Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in accounting, preferably from an accounting firm or consulting business

  • Documented ability to independently manage bookkeeping as well as monthly and annual financial statements

  • Good understanding of the entire accounting flow and financial control

  • Good system skills; experience with Fortnox is highly meritorious

  • Experience in payroll management is a requirement

  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
