Do you want to be part of an exciting growth journey and contribute to building a modern finance function in a rapidly growing group? At Hjo Installation, we are expanding our central finance hub in the West and are now looking for another colleague to join our accounting team.  

About the roleAs an accountant, you will independently be responsible for accounting and financial statements for one or more subsidiaries within the group. You will work closely with the CEOs of the companies you support, the Team Leader in Gothenburg, and collaborate with colleagues in group accounting and controlling.

Your main workplace will be at the hub in Ringön, but you will sometimes be out at the subsidiaries you support to build close cooperation and gain a good understanding of their operations.

Your main tasks:

• Ongoing accounting and monthly financial statements for one or more companies within the group
• Preparation of annual reports according to K3
• Monthly financial reporting according to the group's guidelines
• Project accounting with progressive profit recognition
• Support to the subsidiary in financial matters
• Participation in budgeting and forecasting work
• Support to external auditors and authorities
• Participation in the development of routines and processes

About you

We are looking for a self-driven and experienced accountant with a good understanding of the entire accounting chain, from ongoing bookkeeping to completed annual reports – preferably with a background and experience from the construction or installation industry. We believe you have a relevant degree in finance, several years of experience in independent financial statement work, and that you feel comfortable working in business systems and Excel. Knowledge of project accounting and progressive profit recognition is seen as a plus but not a requirement.

You are unpretentious, down-to-earth, and communicative and collaborate naturally across different functions.  Being business-minded, having a service-oriented approach, and the ability to make decisions when needed are important qualities for the role.
