Within Försäkringskassan's department for Children and Families, maintenance support is handled. The area consists of 13 units, distributed across three locations - Jönköping, Gothenburg, and Lidköping. We jointly administer and coordinate the assignment, which fosters close collaboration and exchange, both within the management team and in other parts of the area. Welcome to maintenance support!
Analysis, management support, and development work
In your role as a controller within Försäkringskassan, you are responsible for ensuring that the area manager and unit managers have access to the support required to lead and manage operations. The role of a controller also includes managing both operations and finances and resources. This means you are responsible for the analysis and interpretation of production flows, operational results, and financial results within your area of responsibility.
You provide central support for production and resource management and contribute to efficient resource utilization, for example, by establishing production plans or flow analyses. At Försäkringskassan, we actively work on continuous improvements. You participate in relevant forums and networks both within the department and at the agency. Your work also includes preparing materials for follow-up, and you contribute to local development work in the area where you are a close operational support. You regularly visit the local sites for dialogue and support to teams and units. You are also part of the area's management team. As an employee at Försäkringskassan, you have a high security awareness since the agency deals with confidential information.

We are looking for someone who
- has a university degree or equivalent experiences and qualifications
- has experience and good knowledge of the maintenance support benefit and its processes
- has experience working as a controller, within finance and operational management
- acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
- works to achieve results of high quality
- can understand and analyze complex issues
- has good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
- has a systematic and meticulous working method.
It is an advantage if you
- have experience working as a controller, preferably within a larger authority
- have a good ability to handle numerical data, IT-based information sources, and financial systems
- have knowledge of staffing planning and budgeting
- are proactive and accustomed to change management
- have good pedagogical skills
- have good knowledge of Excel.

A permanent, full-time position, with start date by agreement. A probationary period may be applicable.
