Do you want a key role in a dynamic and growing organization? As the Financial Manager at Becker Vacuum Technology, you will be offered a broad role with responsibility for both accounting and reporting. The role is new, and you will have excellent opportunities to influence the development of the finance function. The position is located at our newly built headquarters in Gothenburg.

About the role

As the Financial Manager, you are responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient financial management and administrative operations for our Swedish subsidiary with a sales focus. The role is central to maintaining high quality in the monthly reporting to the headquarters in Germany.

The role is broad and includes operational responsibility for the entire financial flow, as well as being a strategic support to the CEO and the rest of the organization. Work on the implementation of MS Dynamics/Navision is in full swing, and you will take on the responsibility of refining processes and ensuring knowledge within the operations in Sweden.

Main responsibilities

• Ongoing bookkeeping, reconciliations, and accruals
• Monthly reporting according to group standards to the headquarters in Germany
• Preparation and execution of the annual accounts in collaboration with auditors
• Management of VAT, taxes, and legal requirements in Sweden
• Office administration and support to the sales organization
• Coordination with legal advisors on contracts and compliance issues
• Ensuring that internal routines follow group guidelines
• Identifying and driving improvement initiatives within finance and administration

Who are you?

You have a relevant university degree in finance and have previously worked independently with similar tasks, preferably in an international environment. You are confident in your accounting skills and experienced in preparing monthly and annual accounts independently, as well as working with external auditors and legal advisors. Furthermore, you enjoy making your own and complex decisions, being innovative one day and working more operationally the next.

As a person, you are a true team player who enjoys contributing to a good work environment. You are unpretentious, positive, and driven by improving and streamlining processes, ensuring order and structure, and possess strong communication skills.

It is important for us that you have strong digital skills and experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations) as well as Excel. Since we also operate outside Sweden, you communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you speak German and have knowledge of German business culture and legal requirements. Experience from sales-driven organizations in the manufacturing industry and group reporting is also a merit.
