JOAB is in a strong growth phase and continues to develop both operations and working methods.

To further strengthen our finance team, we are now looking for a business-driven and analytical Business Controller who wants to join us on our continued journey.

With us, you will have a key role in a company where engagement, development, and collaboration shape everyday life. As a Business Controller, you will work closely with the business and be an important support to managers and the organization in analysis and decision-making processes.

You will work with analysis, controlling, and reporting while contributing insights that create structure, improvements, and business benefits. The role also includes budget and forecasting work, profitability follow-up, and monthly closing activities.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will work both operationally and strategically. You will be a support for managers and employees regarding financial matters. You will, among other things:

• Participate in monthly and annual closings and audits
• Contribute to the budgeting process and ongoing forecasting work
• Provide financial support to the business in budgeting, forecasting, and follow-up work
• Develop and streamline financial processes, tools, and systems
• Prepare reports, KPIs, and analyses that support the business
• Conduct performance follow-ups with the organization

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in economics or finance, or equivalent education
• 3 years of relevant work experience as a Controller
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office programs
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) and ERP systems
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Experience from manufacturing companies is an advantage

JOAB develops, manufactures, and sells hydraulic superstructures for the automotive industry such as hooklifts, garbage trucks, cranes, etc. JOAB has a turnover of 1.2 billion and employs over 300 people with operations in several locations, including Gothenburg, Dals Rostock, Lessebo, Malmö, Jordbro, Täby, Blomstermåla, Ålem, as well as in Nurmijärvi and Närpes in Finland. JOAB exports about 40% of our sales, mainly to the Nordic countries, but also to Switzerland, Austria, and the Baltic states.
