About the role

As an Accounting Controller, you will be a key person in our finance team of nine. You will report to the Head of Accounting and work closely with colleagues in accounting and controlling. The role involves a broad responsibility within qualified accounting, liquidity planning, and group reporting.

Your main responsibilities

• Invoicing and year-end closing work.
• VAT and payroll tax declarations.
• Participate in the preparation of the annual report and group reporting.
• Monthly follow-up and forecasting of liquidity and cash flow.
• Tax calculation.
• Asset accounting including fixed asset register, activation, and depreciation (K3).
• Responsible for city and group internal reporting in Cognos.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 5-10 years of experience in qualified accounting work.
• A university degree in finance or equivalent.
• Experience in component accounting and management of fixed asset registers.
• Knowledge in liquidity planning and cash flow forecasts.

Meritorious:

• Experience with the City of Gothenburg's financial model and system support such as Agresso/Unit4 ERP, Proceedo, Hypergene.
• Group reporting in IBM Cognos Controller.
• Background from the real estate or construction industry.
