As the training manager, you create a pleasant atmosphere and contribute to a great training experience for our members. You are responsible for planning, driving, and developing training in both the gym and group training. You oversee volunteer staff and trainers at our facility and are a confident leader with experience in building good relationships, communicating, and fostering a wonderful engagement. You will be an important part of our collaborative and creative team.

The role of training manager includes

· having overall responsibility for training at our facility

· being responsible for developing, planning, and driving training within our organization, both gym and group training

· being the lead contact with daily communication with volunteers

· being responsible for the training schedule and planning training activities and events within the association

· assessing development needs, recruiting, inviting to individual and group meetings regarding the quality of our training and leadership

· monitoring and evaluating maintenance and renewal needs in our training facilities and equipment related to both gyms and group training

· being responsible for and developing collaborations with sports clubs and corporate training

· managing contacts with Friskis Riks and other Friskis&Svettis associations related to training responsibilities

· participating in the daily operations at the facility and staffing the reception where evening and weekend work may occur.

To succeed in this role, we see that

· you are currently engaged with Friskis, where you are a confident leader with developed self-leadership that always keeps the member in focus

· you are passionate about training, have a background and relevant education in fitness, health, or wellness, or equivalent

· experience in leading and developing people is an advantage

· you have experience working with various administrative systems and scheduling

· you have good communication skills in both spoken and written form

· it is an advantage if you are a certified trainer/leader within Friskis & Svettis or have experience leading and developing in the non-profit sector.

About Friskis Partille

Friskis Partille is the largest non-profit sports club in the municipality with over 3500 members. We are located at a facility by Björndammen. You will have two colleagues and about 120 volunteers and hosts who together ensure enjoyable and energetic training of high quality for our members.

Start date according to agreement. Full-time position. Collective agreement.
