Service Officer at the Swedish State Service Center in Trollhättan

At the service office in Trollhättan, we are 8 employees and part of the Trollhättan office area. We work in a service-oriented manner where you and your colleagues take joint responsibility for your assignments and learning. We actively work with continuous improvements, and it is part of the role to contribute to the development of the organization.

Main Responsibilities

As a service officer, you provide quick and professional service by answering questions from individuals and businesses. A large part of your work involves guiding customers to use the collaborative authorities' e-services and finding information on websites. In your role, it is important that you listen actively, adapt your approach to the customer, and have a pedagogical attitude.

In your customer meetings, you will have support from the various authorities' IT systems. In addition to introduction and training, time is set aside each day to familiarize yourself with the information you need to stay updated on news and changes affecting the service office's operations. You will also work at the service offices in Uddevalla and Strömstad.

Qualifications

You are driven to provide our customers with good service by identifying each customer's needs and providing answers or guidance. Since you work closely with customers, you must feel comfortable in direct meetings with customers from various backgrounds and abilities. In short, we are looking for someone who has a positive attitude and is quick to learn new knowledge.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A university degree of at least 80 credits/120 ECTS or equivalent knowledge obtained through work experience
  • At least two years of experience in a service role within the last five years where you have informed and guided customers in personal meetings.
  • A valid driver's license (B)

Additionally, you should have the following abilities:

  • Quickly establish contact with others in an objective and professional manner
  • Identify the customer's needs by asking questions and listening actively
  • Communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish
  • Communicate verbally in English
  • Adapt your working methods to the varying needs of customers
  • Handle multiple customers simultaneously
  • Contribute positively to the team's results and collaboration

It is also advantageous if you have:

  • Experience working with face-to-face customer interactions in a service role

Other Information

The position is a fixed-term employment until the end of August and full-time with the possibility of extension. Start date is negotiable. We do not offer remote work. This position requires a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act.
