We are part of Gothenburg City’s long-term work to create a more equal and sustainable city and reduce differences in living conditions.
As the city grows, we are further developing our sports areas. The work is based on how we can best create and preserve conditions for associations and good public health and meaningful leisure for the people of Gothenburg.

About the workplace
We are an expanding administration and to meet future needs, the Facility Department is continuously working on organizational development. As a business developer, you will play a key role in this work and have the opportunity to shape the working methods within the department. Together with the team, you have the opportunity to shape the working methods within the department.
You will be part of a team consisting of three development leaders, three business developers, and one business controller. Together, you will work on overarching issues, create coherence and added value, and provide expertise within the business areas to our managers.
Job responsibilities
In your role, you will:
- Create and develop processes in line with the administration's direction and the department's mission.
- Identify and improve processes and also subprocesses in connection with new facilities and operational issues.
- Prepare materials and analyses for decisions and contribute to investment processes.
- Develop process descriptions, templates, follow-ups, and evaluations.
- Collaborate closely with managers and the management team, both strategically and operationally.
You will report to the operations manager within Department Support and work on behalf of the management team and unit managers. The assignment includes close collaboration with managers in fields, ice rinks, sports halls, swimming pools, and wellness.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- Higher education or extensive experience that the employer assesses as equivalent.
- Several years of experience in business development, preferably within the facility sector or public sector.
- Knowledge of process creation and process development within the operation of fields, ice rinks, sports halls, swimming pools, and wellness is an advantage.
- Experience in construction and investment processes as well as project work and coordination.
- Good understanding of facility operations and its challenges and opportunities.
As a person, you are analytical, systematic, and structured and see opportunities for improvements. You effectively lead various processes by analyzing the current situation, planning methodically forward, setting clear goals, and following up on results. You thrive with many contact points, can build trust, and have a high ability to collaborate. You conduct dialogue work and can express yourself well in speech and writing. You have a good ability to plan and prioritize your work effectively.
