JOB DESCRIPTION

As a property and local controller, you will work strategically and cross-sectorally with local supply issues for preschools, primary schools, and high schools. The assignment involves analyzing needs, preparing decision-making materials, and representing the child and education sector in the municipality's planning and building processes. The assignment also includes presenting cases in the child and education committee.

You will operate in an organization where long-term planning, political decisions, and the needs of operations need to be weighed together with a holistic perspective and the best interests of the child in focus.

Your tasks include, among others:

• analyzing and preparing the sector's needs for new, renovation, and reinvestments
• representing and coordinating the child and education sector in planning and building issues
• presenting cases and investigations for the child and education committee
• collaborating with other sectors, trade unions, and external actors
• contributing to municipality and sector-wide projects, working groups, and emergency work

QUALIFICATIONS

We see that you have a relevant university degree in property, economics, or equivalent that the employer assesses as relevant.

You should have a good understanding of public operations and politically governed processes.

As a person, you have the ability to work long-term, take municipal overall responsibility, and at the same time monitor the needs of the operation.

We are looking for someone who is analytical, structured, and confident in a strategic role. You have the ability to translate complex information into clear materials and find it easy to build trusting relationships.
