We are looking for a consultant for the role of management controller who will work across the management and be responsible for coordinating the work with planning and follow-up, risk management, internal control, and internal governance.

In this role, you will work directly on behalf of the department manager and have a central role in the management's strategic and operational development work with our public client in Gothenburg.

Examples of tasks

• Be the process leader for the management's planning and follow-up process

• Lead the department's controller team

• Plan and drive the work with the management's risk analyses

• Function as management support to the department manager

• Support and, if necessary, drive the work related to the department's focus areas for 2026.

The position is located in the Strategic Coordination department. The department is responsible for structure, methods, and tools for planning, following up, and developing operations. Strategic Coordination is also responsible for the annual tax process and the construction of taxes as well as coordination of research and innovation, environmental and climate work, and cross-management referrals.

Your background, experience, and skills

• Several years of experience in strategic work, quality work, analysis, and follow-up in a goal-oriented organization

• Experience working with the city's system support Stratsys

• Experience in report writing and good writing skills.

You are offered

A consulting assignment starting from 2026-02-02 until 2026-08-31. The assignment will primarily be conducted on-site at the headquarters in Alelyckan and requires physical participation in meetings.
