About the Role

As an accountant at Nordic Investing Group, you will have overall responsibility for accounting, reporting, and financial management in a growing international group. You will be a key person in ensuring accurate financial information, streamlining processes, and supporting management in business decisions.

Your main responsibilities

• Be responsible for ongoing accounting and financial statements for the group's Swedish companies and coordinate with foreign subsidiaries

• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports as well as interim and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable regulations

• Handle VAT and tax issues in collaboration with external advisors

• Drive improvement projects for automation and efficiency of financial processes

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes and analyze deviations from the budget

• Ensure internal control, follow up on routines, and contribute to compliance with the group's policies

• Act as a point of contact for auditors, banks, and other external parties

We are looking for someone who

• Has relevant economic education and several years of experience in accounting within a company or group

• Is self-driven and enjoys having both operational responsibility and strategic focus

• Has a good understanding of IFRS and Swedish accounting principles and experience in group consolidation (meriting)

• Is accustomed to working in business systems and accounting systems; experience with integrations and automation is a plus

• Has good communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

• Is structured, meticulous, and has a problem-solving attitude
