Description
The Urban Environment Administration has a comprehensive responsibility for the city's public spaces and overall accessibility.
We work to create accessible, attractive, and vibrant urban environments and natural areas. The administration owns and manages the tram network in Gothenburg. Approximately 900 people work within the administration.
The Urban Environment Administration is part of the urban development administrations in Gothenburg City. Together, we work to create conditions for a functioning infrastructure, quality housing and premises, an inviting public environment, and strive for the city to be sustainable from all perspectives.
We are looking for an experienced process developer for the Quality unit who wants to be a central part of shaping and improving our processes, driving change, and working closely with various functions.
Responsibilities
As a process developer, you will work to improve and streamline our processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and create innovative solutions that make a difference. The work includes both strategic and operational parts, and you will among other things:
- Support managers and employees in working process-oriented
- Develop and manage frameworks, methods, and models for process development
- Plan and conduct training, workshops, and knowledge-enhancing initiatives
- Map, analyze, and develop the organization’s processes
- Promote continuous improvement work throughout the organization
- Be a driving force in the change and cultural shift towards increased holistic view and cross-functionality
- Act as a facilitator and advisor in process-related projects and initiatives.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a university degree or equivalent education/experience in business development. In addition, you have:
- Several years of experience in process development and process mapping
- Good knowledge of methods and models for process work (e.g., Lean, value stream analysis)
- Experience leading development or change work, preferably in larger or complex organizations
- Experience driving projects and collaborating cross-functionally
- Good analytical skills and a structured approach
Meritorious:
- Experience from the public sector and business
- Education in change management or quality/process management
- Experience with digital tools for process modeling, such as 2c8.

Conditions
We are currently renovating our workplace at Köpmansgatan 20, where all urban development administrations will gather. The new premises are expected to be ready in 2026 – until then, we are located at Skeppsbron/Postgatan 10.
