ABOUT THE POSITION

To meet the significantly increased demand for electricity and ensure operational reliability, our client is planning renewals of the electricity grid throughout Sweden. This is a prerequisite for electrification, the green transition, and for Sweden to continue to develop positively. Effective and tailored communication with those affected by the grid expansion is one of the key factors for successful progress in the projects.

The assignment involves supporting the grid expansion with communication expertise in several projects. You will be part of the unit in the company's communications department that focuses on regional dialogues and communication in the grid expansion. The communicators in the unit have common working methods and collaborate as needed to ensure communication that contributes to the progress of the projects and also strengthens the company's brand.

The starting point for the assignment is at the office in Sundbyberg, but remote work may occur after some time into the assignment. Domestic travel may occur to a limited extent.

Our client is part of Sweden's critical infrastructure, and many of their services are classified for security. If this position is security classified, a security review will be conducted before the assignment can begin, in accordance with the Security Protection Act.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Job tasks

Plan and implement communication that contributes to the progress of the projects, focusing on communication to those affected by the projects, directly or indirectly
Support the project's spokespersons and ensure that external communication maintains a consistent message based on the communications for the grid expansion
Work closely with the program communicator and other project communicators and be part of the unit in the communications department that focuses on communication in the grid expansion and regional communication
Be both advisory and operational

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Has a completed university degree, at least a bachelor's degree, in media and communication science, behavioral science, or journalism
Has at least 5 years of work experience in communication in projects/activities that affect the public
Has at least 5 years of work experience independently driving, planning, and implementing target group-adapted communication and relationship-building communication activities
Has documented experience communicating complex issues tailored to various target groups
Has experience working independently with the web publishing tool EpiServer
Has experience working independently with the Adobe CS package
Has fluent language skills in Swedish and English

It is meritorious if you have:

At least 1 year of work experience in a government authority and/or in other public activities
At least 1 year of work experience in press and media
At least 1 year of work experience adapting content for digital channels
