Your role
Together with two colleagues and the department's management team, you will be driving the overall development and quality work within the department. Your role includes preparing service statements for the district committee, such as responding to letters, referrals, and citizen proposals. You will work with operational planning and follow-ups in the city's management system ILS, as well as coordinate and assist managers in this work.
The work is varied and changeable, so other tasks may also occur, and the content and conditions of the work may change over time. This is an exciting job where you will help influence the governance and future of Skärholmen's social services including leisure.
Your competence and experience
We are looking for someone who has:
- A degree in social work or another academic education that the employer assesses as relevant for the position
- Good knowledge in the field of social services
- Experience in coordination, operational planning, follow-up work, preparation and analysis work, as well as drafting reports and documents for management
- Well-developed language skills and can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish
- It is an advantage if you have experience working in a politically governed organization.
To succeed in the role, we are looking for someone who can independently structure their tasks and drive their processes forward. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively, set and adhere to deadlines. You have the ability to work on parallel tasks and are driven by a strong sense of responsibility. Since the role involves many contact points, you enjoy collaborating with other people, listening, communicating, and working solution-focused. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

In my leadership, I focus on dialogue, clarity, and participation with a clear focus on our mission. My goal is to work together with managers and employees to drive a high-quality operation for the residents who come into contact with our services and to ensure that our employees enjoy their work. The role of operational controller is central in supporting and following up on the development of the operations.
