The Swedish Agency for Total Defence Analysis (MTFA) is tasked with monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating operations within total defense from a systems perspective and assisting the government with qualified knowledge bases.

MTFA operates under the Ministry of Defence and is located in centrally situated premises in Stockholm. The agency was established in 2023 and currently has around 30 employees.

We are looking for a GD assistant who is service-oriented, meticulous, and motivated by a role where tasks vary in both content and pace – are you the one we are looking for?

Your responsibilities

As a GD assistant, you will play an important role as administrative support to the Director General in ongoing work. You will, among other things, plan and book meetings, visits, and travel. You will also provide administrative support to the agency's management team. In your work, you will have many points of contact both within and outside the agency. Your tasks will also include assisting with registering documents, archiving, and providing general office services.

The position is newly established and is located in the administrative department. The administrative department is responsible for staff support to the Director General as well as the agency's operational support, which includes planning and follow-up, legal matters, finance, HR, IT, communication, premises management, registration, and office administration.

You have

• a high school diploma.
• current and at least five years of experience as an assistant/administrative support to a senior manager.
• experience in handling multiple different administrative tasks simultaneously.
• good knowledge of the Office suite.
• good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is advantageous if you have

• experience from working within a government agency or other public sector.
• other relevant further education, for example in public administration or administration.

Other

The place of work is Stockholm. The position is classified for security purposes, which requires Swedish citizenship. The position is a permanent employment at 100 percent with a six-month probationary period. Employment requires a satisfactory result in the security screening with background check, conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act. Start date according to agreement.
