Digital Communication Expert at PTS
Have you dreamed of building something from the ground up and truly making a difference? Do you enjoy creating structure, engaging content, and guiding others in the world of social media? Then this is the role for you – at PTS, you will have the chance to leave your mark and become our digital expert!
We work with what everyone takes for granted. The ability to communicate. With us, you will ensure that it works now and in the future. For everyone.
In the communications department, the ambition level is high. We strive to continuously develop our communication and our ways of working, placing great emphasis on initiative and development. Currently, there are eight people in the department, but we are growing rapidly and are expected to be 12 people soon.
My name is Anne-Catherine Worth, and I have been the communications manager at PTS since September 2nd. We have embarked on both an exciting and fun transformation journey aimed at even more effective communication. We have high ambitions, and you who start here will be an important part of the work. To succeed, we must be innovative, show courage, and take initiative. Joy is also a central factor, as I am convinced that we become better when we have fun. As if that weren't enough, we at PTS have an important mission, so there are all opportunities to walk to work with a spring in your step and a straight back home.
About the Role
In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to build and develop PTS's presence on social media from the ground up. You will be responsible for creating a clear structure, producing engaging content – both video and static – and linking our digital presence to the agency's mission of safe and accessible communication in Sweden.
You will develop strategies and guiding documents, drive campaigns, and collaborate with external agencies as needed. The role also involves analyzing and following up on our efforts to continuously develop both organic and sponsored content.
As an important part of our building phase, you will help the organization navigate social media by providing advice, guidance, and strengthening internal competence. With your experience in building digital presence, you know what steps are required to succeed, even when the frameworks are not entirely clear.
Here, you will leave your mark, work creatively and strategically, and contribute to increasing awareness of an agency that makes a difference for all of Sweden.
About You
A prerequisite for the role is that you have a strong interest and curiosity to stay updated on trends and target groups in social media and dare to think outside the box, while conveying an image that aligns with PTS's mission. You easily build relationships and collaborate smoothly with both colleagues and external actors, but you are just as comfortable working independently. With your proactive attitude, you create structure, drive activities, and ensure that things happen – always with a focus on clear, engaging communication that reaches the right target audience. Your personal qualities are important to us, and we will place great emphasis on these.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Post-secondary education in digital communication, marketing, or similar.
- Several years of experience in successfully strategic and operational work with social media and building an organization's organic and sponsored social media presence from the ground up.
- Experience in developing guiding documents, policies, and guidelines for social media, as well as ensuring their compliance.
- Experience in creating engaging text, images, and videos tailored to the target audience and channel. You are accustomed to using relevant production tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent, to produce and edit physical units and digital material for social media and web, including video material.
- Experience as a client and requirement setter towards external suppliers, such as production agencies, and have worked closely with external actors to ensure quality and consistency.
- Basic knowledge of image law, such as GDPR and copyright, as well as legislation affecting work in social media (e.g., the Accessibility Act for Digital Public Services).
- Documented good skills in written Swedish with the ability to ensure a consistent tone and style.
- Experience in graphic design of physical units such as brochures, flyers, and exhibition materials.
It is also meritorious if you have experience in:
- Analyzing and adjusting content strategies based on data from platforms such as Meta Insights, Google Analytics.
- Managing comment sections and engaging in dialogues on social media in a professional and responsible manner.
- Participating in editorial work.
- Developing and adapting social media strategies to optimize audience engagement.
Our Offer
We take life seriously. With us, you can have a life both at and outside of work. If you feel good, we feel good. Therefore, we offer competitive salaries, flexible working hours, and the possibility of remote work. We also have generous wellness allowances and two wellness hours each week.
Additionally, you will receive favorable conditions for lunch, vacation, parental leave, pension, and in case of illness. Here, you will work in modern activity-based premises at Hälsingegatan 38. As a government agency, we offer a safe and stable working environment where you can feel secure. We are creating tomorrow's society and must stay at the forefront. With us, you will continuously grow with your tasks.
