Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a research engineer to the Network Security Group (https://nss.proj.kth.se/ (https://nss.proj.kth.se/)) within EECS/SCS. We are seeking motivated individuals interested in research and doctoral education in security for machine learning and large language models. The position involves activities leading to independent research resulting in peer-reviewed publications.

The Network Security Group designs and builds reliable network systems. Our research covers a wide spectrum of security, privacy, and networking issues. Several of our results have received significant attention in the research community. Our teaching efforts lead to a new course area in security that we are introducing at KTH. Our work combines theoretical and experimental methods. Applicants with strong experimental, systems engineering profiles and research interests are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Requirements

Completed degree at the undergraduate or graduate level (higher education) in the subject of the position or equivalent competence.
Experience in several of the following: data security, internet security, distributed algorithms and systems, programming languages, performance analysis, operating systems, software engineering.
Willingness and readiness to contribute to our research and work in an international research team.
Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written, as it is part of the daily operations.

Experience with global satellite navigation systems, software-defined radios, and programming of wireless devices.
