About the position
At Perido, we are currently seeking a part-time IT student for our client, a leading Nordic stock exchange. The client company has 40 years of experience supporting growth companies and offering trading in a wide range of financial instruments, including stocks, bonds, and derivatives, in markets in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Norway. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of one of Europe’s largest stock exchange groups, the company combines expertise with an open, entrepreneurial corporate culture. You will be based at the office located in Östermalm, Stockholm.
You will be employed at 50% and work approximately 3–5 half-days a week. You will work one of three following shifts:
- 07:00-13:00
- 12:00-17:00
- 17:00-22:00
Your responsibilities
In this role, you will receive a solid introduction from experienced colleagues to gradually become independent in your work. You will handle external support for the company's trading system and related systems, as well as perform IT-related tasks according to directives from your immediate supervisor.
Your tasks will include software management, such as installing and updating software, as well as participating in troubleshooting the trading system and its related systems. Additionally, you will assist with internal IT support at the office. This position offers you the opportunity to develop and build valuable experience during your studies, with the chance for extra work during school breaks.

Qualifications:
- Ongoing university/college education in IT
- Experience in customer support/helpdesk within IT and knowledge of ITIL process flow (incident management)
- Ability to communicate fluently in both spoken and written Swedish and English
Meritorious:
- Experience in scripting or programming (PHP, Python, BASH, and knowledge of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Interest in the Swedish financial market and securities trading
Scope and start date
Part-time assignment initially for 6 months via Perido, with the possibility of permanent employment with the client thereafter. Start as soon as possible.
