We are looking for a curious and open-minded person to join our Design Adaptation team within the People Transport Solutions unit at Scania, where we build buses. Our role within the unit is to cover product gaps in our existing product portfolio and create tailored solutions for our customers. Now we are scaling our team and are therefore looking for a person who enjoys problem solving as much as we do.

In this role, you will get the opportunity to combine both analytical and flexible thinking, designing smart solutions for our customers, and transforming creative ideas into ready solutions. You will work with developing both new solutions and maintaining existing ones. It is done by creating the cable harness drawings and circuit diagrams for complete systems and verify either at test assembly or in running production. You will analyze requests coming from customers and answer if those are feasible to implement. Part of the work is to continuously look for improvements and implementing them.

Background

• You have a Bachelor or Master degree within in Electro/Mechatronics or equivalent.
• You have at least 7 years of working experience within cable harness design.
• You have experience from automotive industry and knowledge about Saber (schematics and cable harness design) and CatiaV5 (3D routing) systems which are primary tools used in development.
• Experience with both VCA (low voltage) and VCB (high voltage) systems is meriting.
• You are capable of expressing yourself fluently in English. Fluent in Swedish is meriting.
