Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency makes about 20 million decisions that affect people's lives and society as a whole. We disburse approximately 250 billion SEK each year. It is the taxpayers' money that we manage. It is a significant responsibility. Therefore, we think innovatively and use the latest technology to simplify and improve, develop and deliver IT services for the Swedish social insurance system. The Production Center area is the central hub within the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's IT Production. Here, we are responsible for the entire chain from production planning to deployment, monitoring, and support of our IT services. The area is also the link between those who develop and manage IT products and the operations that use the IT services in their daily lives. The area is divided into six units and consists of nearly 100 employees. The Service Management unit, where the position is located, consists of 18 employees, and we are currently in a growth phase where we will offer new capabilities such as AI support and Helix GPT for the Swedish Social Insurance Agency with our ITSM platform BMC Helix.

Development, Management, BMC Helix

As a system developer, you will work with the development, management, and maintenance of BMC Helix, ARS Remedy, which is hosted on the Openshift container platform. We work in an agile manner, so you will be involved in all aspects of system development as well as deployment. We offer you large, complex development assignments where you have the opportunity to influence by participating in and leading change efforts, as well as working on tactical and strategic issues within the area.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high level of security awareness.

We are looking for someone who

• has an academic education as a system developer or equivalent experience
• has experience in system development
• has good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form
• has a strong drive and a high level of engagement
• has a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to contribute to the team's delivery
• collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
• has the ability to quickly understand various issues and see the big picture.

It is advantageous if you have

• experience and proficiency in any of the following: BMC Helix ITSM, SRM, SLM, CMDB, DWP, Smart IT, DWC, TSO, Innovation Suite, BWF, BMC Discovery, BHOM
• experience in deployment and management within container platforms, K8, OpenShift
• certifications within BMC's application suite
• experience with agile working methods
• knowledge of the ITIL framework and its processes
• experience in development against BMC Helix, ARS Remedy.

Other Information

Three positions, permanent, full-time, with start date by agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. For this position, Swedish citizenship is required.
