For example, we noticed that certain scripts for job indexing and database searches were overloading the server. Through better logging and troubleshooting, these issues have been resolved – including improved database indexing and caching solutions in Laravel. The result is a faster and more stable experience for you as a visitor.

Improved Design and User Experience

A significant amount of work has been put into enhancing the site's appearance and usability through adjustments in CSS. We have also implemented a new footer on the homepage, making it easier to navigate to important parts of the site.

Search Engine and Speed Optimization

Statsskuld.se has been optimized to achieve high scores in Google Pagespeed Insights – and now often scores 100/100 in performance. Additionally, schema markup has been reviewed, where previous inaccuracies and incompleteness have now been addressed for better visibility in search results.

Improvements in Content and Features

• Opinion Polls: Duplicates that were previously created have been addressed, and the results are now displayed correctly.
• Articles: We have cleaned up incorrect HTML and restructured old texts. Many articles about salaries have been proofread and rewritten with new data and clearer information.
• Salary Pages: The concepts of gross salary and net salary have been clarified, along with taxes and fees that affect the net salary.
• New Images: Several articles have received more suitable and relevant images.
• Error Handling: Electricity prices are now handled more robustly – if data is missing, what is available is displayed instead of returning an error (500).
• Search and Pagination: An error where search terms disappeared when changing pages in salary statistics has been corrected.
