Are you an experienced backend developer driven by security at every step?
We are now looking for four developers to join our new team!
The EU has decided that each EU country must provide a European digital identity wallet (EUDIW). The idea behind the identity wallet is that citizens of EU countries should be able to manage digital versions of various certificates, proofs, and identifications such as ID cards, driving licenses, and professional licenses. In Sweden, it is Digg that is responsible for providing the identity wallet.
Do you enjoy being involved from the start and developing entirely new services where the number of users can become very large, while the security requirements are very high?
About the job
Our focus is to build the common digital infrastructure to provide both public Sweden, private actors, and citizens with digital services. Examples of services we develop and operate include secure messaging, electronic identification, and signatures, as well as the common digital entry point to the EU. To achieve this, we are now strongly investing in further developing our own IT delivery capacity.
Today, we are a group of architects, developers, and UX designers with a strong team spirit who work closely together, and we need to grow. We have several development teams connected to one or more services. We also have a platform team that supports the development teams to ensure they can take responsibility for a service. Our philosophy is that the team that handles the new development of a service also takes care of the service throughout its lifecycle.
Work in the development teams is done agilely in close collaboration with internal stakeholders who formulate the business needs as well as the system's functional and non-functional requirements. You are expected to collaborate in a team with others but also enjoy working independently on your own.

To strengthen the digitization work, the government has tasked Digg and the Post and Telecom Agency (PTS) to propose how our two authorities could merge into one. A starting point is that the tasks that Digg and PTS have should remain unchanged. Our work to digitize Sweden will continue, and we hope you want to be part of the journey.
